About

Who Am I?

My name is Eric Harrison. I have been a software developer since around 2000. I love software development, but I have always had this entrepreneurial itch that I tried to ignore. So, about 2-3 years ago I started studying up on real estate and investing. Well, needless to say that was probably the worst time in history for me to do that. But I have benefited greatly because I have learned some very valuable lessons and been blessed by God in amazing ways. So, now I have decided to use my software skills and my entrepreneurial desire to make the web a better place. It is my goal to provide tools and services on the web that make people’s lives better. It is my desire to create the most powerful and useful tools around. I know that if I help others, then my family and I will end up benefiting in some way also. Hopefully as you follow my blog, you will see tools pop up that make you say WOW, how did I live without that? Then, I hope that you will share this site with others. Then I will know that I have been successful.

Tool Building

In my career as a programmer, I have always been a tool builder.  I love to build tools that help others to get their job done more easily.  It is fun to me and makes my clients very happy.  I have built tools for non programmers to manage web content from the web (CMS).  I have built tools for users manage data for large corporations using graphical user interfaces (Java Swing).  I have built scripts for network administrators to manage large networks of machines.  I have built graphical user interfaces for software testers to be able to run tests on machines across their networks.  I have built so many tools, mainly because I just love to build useful programs that allow people to get their jobs done easier.  I am currently involved in building tools that help small business owners succeed on the web.  The purpose of this blog is to allow me to explore ideas that I have, post information on solving programming problems, and publish the tools that I am building.  I will also review other people’s tools that I use and let you know my thoughts on their tools.  See My Tools Page
